The Association was jointly established on October 28, 2006, by enthusiastic scholars and experts from industry, government, academia, and research sectors who are actively engaged in disaster prevention and emergency management research and practice. Leaders who have long promoted research and practical implementation in disaster prevention and response technologies were elected to guide the Association.
Currently, the Association has 230 individual members and 24 institutional members. To date, we have organized 61 symposiums and nearly 61 lectures, continuously promoting disaster prevention and emergency response technologies with dedication and enthusiasm. We sincerely invite you to join us!

The Association's core activities include three primary areas: convening General Assembly meetings, reviewing and publishing the Journal of Disaster Management Science and Technology, and organizing academic conferences, site visits, and professional exchange activities. Through these efforts, we actively promote both domestic and international exchange and collaboration in disaster prevention technologies and management.
To date, the Association comprises 25 institutional members and 230 individual members, representing central and local government agencies, academic and research institutions, and industry organizations. We warmly welcome you to join the Association to foster professional exchange and explore innovative disaster management technologies and applications together.
