We are pleased to announce that applications for the DMST 2026 Awards Program are now open. Members and professionals in the field of disaster management are warmly invited to submit nominations and applications.

The DMST 2026 Awards Program is open for applications from now until September 30, 2026 (Wednesday)

Annual General Meeting and Board Election

The 2026 Annual General Meeting of the Disaster Management Society of Taiwan will be held on December 11, 2026 (Friday). During the meeting, the 11th Board of Directors and Supervisors will be elected for a two-year term.

Members who are interested in serving the Society and contributing to its future development are encouraged to submit a Self-Nomination Form. (Please refer to Attachment 1.)

Awards Program

To recognize outstanding contributions made by individual and institutional members in disaster prevention, mitigation, response, recovery, and disaster management research, the Society organizes its annual Awards Program.

The awards include:

1. Distinguished Contribution Award
2. Outstanding Achievement Award
3. Student Thesis Award

Please refer to Attachment 2 – DMST 2026 Awards Evaluation Guidelines for detailed eligibility and evaluation criteria.

Application Procedure

1. Candidates may be nominated by Directors, Supervisors, Institutional Members, or Individual Members. The nomination forms are provided in Attachments 2–4.
   • Applicants for the Outstanding Achievement Award (Individual) should complete Attachment 3 – Individual.
   • Applicants for the Outstanding Achievement Award (Group) should complete Attachment 3 – Group.
2. Please submit the completed application documents by September 30, 2026 (Wednesday).
